PIA Starts Special Flight Operations for the Middle East

A famous Pakistani news outlet, Geo News, went into a frenzy after irresponsible and malicious reporting. The news outlet claimed that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has issued orders to stop the supply of half-liter mineral water bottles for passengers on domestic flights.

According to the details, Geo News, in an attempt to prove its efficiency, kept up the tradition of irresponsible journalism by reporting a false news regarding the national flag carrier.

In their report, the news outlet claimed that PIA’s Manager Flight Services issued a “notification” which stated that the national flag carrier is cutting off the supply of water bottles to their passengers aboard domestic flights. However, Geo News further claimed that the crew will provide water in glass to the passengers on demand.

While exclusively talking to Baaghi TV, PIA spokesman Abdullah Khan has vehemently denied reports on some social media pages that the PIA has cut off the supply of mineral water on board.

Furthermore, in response to the false reporting of Geo News, Abdullah Khan said that the notice issued by PIA, in which the use of the English word ‘uplift’ for the supply of mineral water aboard is taken to mean ‘termination of supply’ which either was misconstrued or lacked knowledge of the language.

PIA spokesman confirmed while talking to Baaghi TV that water is being supplied to the passengers aboard domestic as well as international flights and will be available in all passenger seat pockets.
