ISLAMABAD: PIA’s Honor is Pakistan’s Honor: International Organization recognizes security measures.
It is reportedly a great honor for Pakistan to be recognized in the International Air Transport Association’s IATA Operational Safety Audit, PIA’s safety measures and arrangements Quality Resolution Certificate has been issued.
A PIA spokesman said that PIA is the first and only airline in Pakistan to have undergone IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit which is an internationally recognized safety standard.
IOSA’s safety requirements are sourced from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Referring to the award, PIA Chief Executive Air Marshal Arshad Malik said that IOSA is a comprehensive operational safety audit which is conducted every 24 months by an audit organization approved by IATA.
PIACL has successfully maintained its registration as an “IOSA Operator”.
CEO PIA Air Marshal addressing the employees at the Certificate Awards Ceremony at PIA Head Office Arshad Malik said that security is always a priority of PIA.
