PM announces to observe TF day on August 9th
ISLAMABAD, July 28 (Online): Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has announced to observe Tiger Force (TF) day on August 9.
PM has said he himself will become part of TF tree plantation campaign.
In a message he has said “ I want to give message to TF that TF day will be observed on August, 9th. About one millions tigers have to lead on that occasion. I direct members of assembly, ministers and all the four chief ministers to participate in tree plantation campaign forcefully. About 10 billion saplings have to be planted till 2023.
He added “ there are two reasons for planting trees in Pakistan. One is that pollution is taking toll on the health of people and secondly Pakistan stands among 10 affected countries owing to global warming. Tree plantation is must in the backdrop of global warming and pollution. TF will lead tree plantation campaign.
Usman Dar special assistant to PM also called on Imran Khan and the two made consultations in connection with preparations for observing TF day.
Letter received from China regarding TF was also presented to PM. Imran Khan expressed pleasure over appreciation of TF at international level.
