PM Imran Khan’s response on Asim Bajwa’s resignation
Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan refuses to accept the resignation of Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa from the position of Special Assistant to the Primie Minister (SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting.
According to the details of Baaghi TV, PM Khan says that he is satisfied with the evidence of assets and explanation he has received from the Chairman China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
It is to be noted that Lt. General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa has announced resignation from the post of SAPM on Information and Broadcasting on Thursday.
According to details, Bajwa said that he wants to resign from the post of special assistant, however, will continue to work as the CPEC Chairman as he wants to pay full attention to the project.

It is to be noted that a journalist Ahmad Noorani in his story on a website called Fact Focus accused Asim Saleem Bajwa of corruption.
However, in a statement on Twitter yesterday, Bajwa wrote that he strongly denies the allegations and Ahmad Noorani posted false news against him. “I strongly rebut the baseless allegations leveled against me and my family. Alhamdolillah another attempt to damage our reputation belied/exposed. I have and will always serve Pakistan with pride and dignity,” the tweet read.
