PM Khan makes steady recovery, informs SAPM Dr Sultan

Lahore, 28th March: Prime Minister Imran Khan makes a steady recovery from coronavirus pandemic.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Prime Minister Imran Khan has recovered from COVID-19 and may resume his work in a few days.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on National Health Services Dr Faisal Sultan said on Sunday that the premier has made a steady recovery from the virus and will soon resume his political duties.

Dr Faisal Sultan took to Twitter and informed the public that the PM’s lab reports have remained stable.

Dr Sultan wrote, “PM Imran Khan has made steady clinical recovery from Covid and his lab parameters have remained stable. He has been advised that he may resume work and build up his work routine over the next few days. This is in line with national and int’l guidelines.”

The SAPM also shared the guidelines by the government’s ‘Home Isolation and Discharge During COVID 19’ for people’s review.

He also provided a link to the ‘Interim Guidance on Duration of Isolation and Precautions for Adults with COVID-19’ issued by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

It is to be noted that Prime Minister Imran Khan had tested positive for the coronavirus on March 20 and was self-isolating at his residence in Islamabad.
