PM Khan, Prince Muhammed bin Zayed Speak Via Phone

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Zayed engaged in an important conversation regarding the Afghanistan situation wherein the Prime Minister said that the international community should help the Afghan people in economic support and reconstruction.

According to foreign ministry sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan had a telephonic call with the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Zayed to discuss the situation in Afghanistan and regional developments. The Prince saluted Pakistan’s strategy in the region and the two leaders also discussed issues of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation.

Conversing with the Prince via telephone, the Prime Minister said that a peaceful and stable Afghanistan is in the interest of not only Pakistan but the whole region. Political settlement is the best way to ensure the protection of the rights of the Afghan people, he said.

The Prime Minister congratulated the Crown Prince on the excellent arrangements made for the Dubai Expo 2020 and wished him all the best for the grand success of the huge event. Both the leaders agreed to enhance cooperation in all areas of common interest.
