PM Khan takes a firm stand on the law on finality of Prophethood

Lahore, 3rd May: Prime Minister Imran Khan has spoken firmly about the laws regarding the fianlity of the Prophethood.

Baaghi TV: The premier expressed his views on Monday at the occasion of the resolution on GSP Plus in the European Parliament.

A meeting on GSP Plus status was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The meeting discussed the points raised in the EU resolution. 

PM Khan said that there would be no compromise on the law of the finality of Prophethood. he said that it has been decided to bring the laws of enforced disappearance, protection of journalists, freedom of expression in the parliament soon.

The protection of the rights of minorities will be ensured, the opinion about this was presented at the meeting.

However, the GSP Plus agreement has nothing to do with blasphemy laws.

It is to be noted that the European Parliament has expressed concern over the allegations of blasphemy in Pakistan ad anti-French sentiemnts in the country.

It has passed a resolution to review the GSP Plus status given to Pakistan in which it has been demanded from the Pakistan government that violence and discrimination against women and religious minorities should be condemned.
