Prime Minister Imran Khan's nephew, Barrister Hassaan Khan Niazi, to be arrested for involvement in PIC incident.

Lahore (14th Dec, 2019): Prime Minister Imran Khan’s nephew involved in Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) incident. How many raids were conducted to arrest the Prime Minister in the nomination case?

According to reports of Baaghi TV, eighty-one lawyers have been taken into police custody for the attack case of Punjab Institute of Cardiology on the 11th of December, 2019. However, Hassaan Khan Niazi has not yet been arrested as he has reportedly managed to escape from the police during the second raid.

Raiwind police raided to arrest Barrister Hassaan Khan Niazi, but failed to do so despite receiving notification of Niazi’s presence. Prior to this the police had conducted a raid in Lahore to take Niazi into custody but that raid had also been a failure. After social media outrage over the incident, Hassaan Khan Niazi was linked to the case as well as his name being included in the FIR.

According to the police, Nizai has been named in the sub-section of the case. Initial raids have been carried out to arrest Hassaan Niazi. Prime Minister Imran Khan’s nephew Barrister, Hassaan Khan Niazi, who was also present along with fellow lawyers during a violent protest outside the PIC in Lahore. Barrister Hassaan Niazi who is the son of Hafeez Ullah Niazi, renowned analyst, was seen taking pictures with other lawyers.

It is to be noted that on the day of the PIC incident, PTI leader Fayyaz ul Hassan Chauhan was also tortured by the lawyers partaking in vandalism and damage to government property. Moreover, the Provincial Minister was reportedly rescued by journalists who were present at the spot.

The Federal Minister reportedly thanked renowned journalist, Sarfaraz Khan, at a press conference for helping him get away from the lawyers.
