Indian Prime Minister Modi has allegedly been challenged by his brother, Prahlad Modi, according to reports of Baaghi TV.

Prahlad Modi, brother of the Indian Prime Minister, has sharply criticized the government while making a statement in favor of traders. According to reports, he said that whether it is Modi or someone else, the demands of the traders will have to be met. He added that if the Modi government does not comply with the demands then the readers should refuse to pay GST.

Prahlad Modi further said that why does the PM not listen to the businessmen? The government will have to listen. Prahlad Modi is the Vice President of the All India Fair Price Shop Dealers’ Federation. He addressed the traders and asked them to intensify protests against the Maharashtra government and the central government to get their demands accepted.

During the protest in Maharashtra, Prahlad Modi said that it should be such that Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Prime Minister Narendra Modi themselves come to you. First, write a letter to the Chief Minister of Business Maharashtra regarding your demands that we will not pay GST till the demands are met. Prahlad Modi added we are in a democracy, not in slavery.

Business Community Protests against Indian Govt

Moreover, the statements have been echoed by the business community of India, who said they would not pay GST and would expand protests against the government.

It is important to note that trade has been adversely affected across the global community, with merchants being upset because of the Corona lockdown followed by harassment from the police in India. Due to SOPs, cases are being registered and shops are being closed.

Meanwhile, Prahlad Modi has reportedly visited the police station to meet with the traders and recorded strong protests, saying that the Modi government must now provide relief to the traders.
