PM to embark on a three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia

Lahore, 6th May: Prime Minister Imran Khan will go on a three-day visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

PM Khan will leave for Saudi Arabia on Friday on the invitation by Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.

The premier will be accompanied by a delegation led by foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and other cabinet members.

During the visit, the prime minister’s consultations with the Saudi leadership will cover all areas of bilateral cooperation including economic, trade, investment, energy, job opportunities for the Pakistani workforce, and welfare of the Pakistani Diaspora in the Kingdom, the Foreign Office said in a statement.
Both the leaders will discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest.

It is reported that some bilateral agreements and MoUs are expected to be signed during the stay.

It is to be noted that a couple of weeks back PM Khan wrote a letter to the Saudi Crown Prince appreciating his steps towards Green Region policy after which the PM got an invitation by Muhammad Bin Salman.
