PMLN Member Assembly Demands Resignation of Chairman PCB

Lahore (17th June, 2019): PMLN Member Assembly submits resolution seeking dismissal of Chairman PCB and Chief Selector. 

According to Baaghi TV’s reports, members of the Punjab Assembly have submitted a resolution in the Assembly to dismiss the Pakistan cricket team due to their poor performance in the World Cup match against India on 16th June, 2019. Members of Assembly have requested a high-level committee be formed to take action against the embarrassment faced by Pakistan due to irresponsible attitude of the Pakistan team.

As per reports of Baaghi TV, PMLN member assembly, Aneeza Fatima has submitted the resolution on the basis of poor performance by the Cricket team against India. She is believed to have demanded the resignations of Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as well as Chief selectors in her resolution.

She has echoed the sentiments of Pakistani’s all over the world in the aftermath of Pakistan’s loss to India in the World Cup match that was held on the 16th of June.

Aneeza Fatima has mentioned that the PCB management have gone into the World Cup without proper planning. Moreover, they have failed to provide exceptional players who would be a source of pride for the nation.

The players are receiving backlash for their performance against India, according to sources, even PM Imran Khan is disappointed in them.

Baaghi TV’s sources further claim, that while Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam reained form and managed to play well scoring 48 runs and 1 century simultaneously, most players including Sarfaraz Ahmed, Muhammad Hafeez, Imam ul Haque and Shoaib Malik failed to impress with 12, 9, 7 and 0 runs respectively.
