The Standing Committee, while expressing reservations over the broadcast and publication of words deleted during the proceedings of Parliament, has emphasized on the method of daily transmission instead of broadcasting the proceedings of Parliament live.
The standing committee expressed frustration over the salary of Rs 16 lakh of MD PTV. The chairman of the committee, Senator Faisal Javed, said that PTV’s performance was zero except for Ertugrul Ghazi. The people have money, the salary of the Prime Minister is less than 2 lakh.
