Police official tortures wife, breaks leg

A Punjab Police official Shahid Hayat in Sheikhupura, tortured his wife Naseem Bibi physically and broke her legs on demanding money from him.

The police official was arrested after Naseem Bibi filed complaint against him as he threatened the wife of throwing acid in her face if she told anyone anything about the violence.

Police official married Naseem Bibi 10 years ago and there were issues of home expenses for which, the wife asked for money. The victim asked the officials to provide justice to her, otherwise he may do what he threatened to.

With the help of tools, he scratched the skin of the victim also. She also claimed that he had been torturing her children also. According to Naseem Bibi, he left her at DHQ Hospital when she lost her consciousness and threatened in front of doctors as well as other patients in the ward.  She further added, that he threatened to come at night again and throw acid as she told the media about the incident.
