Police to arrest PML-N leaders ahead of the PDM rally

Lahore, 10th December: Punjab police have started arresting important people ahead of Maryam Nawaz’s arrival in Gajjumata.

According to Baaghi TV, before the arrival of PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz to Gajjumata, a place near Lahore, Punjab police have started arresting PLM-N leaders.

PML-N leader Tauseef Shah has been arrested by the police and has been shifted to Ichhra police station. Syed Tauseef Shah had set up a reception camp for Maryam Nawaz in Ichhra.

N-League leaders have expressed anger over the arrest of Tauseef Shah. Maryam Aurangzeb alleges that Tauseef Shah has been arrested on the orders of Imran Khan.

On the other hand, two more cases were registered against the PML-N leaders and workers in different police stations under different provisions.

According to reports, a case was registered against 200 workers and leaders in South Cantonment Police station, Lahore at the request of Price Magistrate Azam Shaigan for violating coronavirus SOPs.

PML-N leaders Naeem Shehzad, Rana Tanveer, Faqir Hussain, Rashid Sindhu and Ramian Aslam have been named in the FIR. The second case was registered in Faisal Town police station.

The number of cases against PML-N leaders and workers has risen to 23. Cases have been registered in different police stations against more than 700 unidentified persons including Maryam Nawaz and other central leaders and activists on charges of violating corona SOPs and Sound Act, blocking traffic and making provocative speeches at rallies and corner meetings.

Talking to media at the time of departure from Jati Umra, Maryam Nawaz said that the whole world is watching that Imran Khan is now joining hands with the opposition. Maryam Nawaz further said that PML-N served the country and that the future belongs to PML-N.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Democratic Movement has decided on a strategy to hold a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan, however, if not granted permission they will hold the rally at Taxaali Chowk, Lahore.
