BaaghTV: A series of power outages has started once again in Karachi due to which the citizens are facing anguish.
Intermittent load shedding is taking place in most parts of Karachi. The power supply in North Karachi Muslim Town has been suspended for several hours while power outages are continuing in New Karachi, North Nazimabad, Buffer Zone, Baldia Town and Orangi Town.
K-Electric Seeks Hike in Electricity Tariff
Power outages in Liaquatabad, Gulbahar, Malir and Landhi have been going on for several hours.
On the other hand, the spokesman of K-Electric has claimed that the power supply in Karachi is continuing as per normal but the power supply has been suspended due to repair work in some areas.
Last month, Chief Justice of Pakistan Supreme Court Justice Gulzar Ahmed had ordered that there should be no one-minute load shedding in Karachi.
When the case related to load-shedding was heard in the Supreme Court Karachi Registry, Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed expressed strong anger over load shedding in Karachi.
