Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the nominee for Prime Minister on behalf of the PPP recently opened up about his plans for marriage.

In an interview with a private TV, the PPP leader answered questions about his marriage. When Bilawal Zardari was asked about getting married, the PPP chairman said, “There is no possibility of marriage at this time, at least you won’t see my marriage until the election”. When asked if he ever fell in love, Bilawal Bhutto replied, “It is yet to happen”.

In response to a question about Imran Khan, Bilawal Zardari said that Khan should leave the politics of hatred and come towards a democratic approach. Seeing the problems and difficulties that the Pakistani nation is currently facing, my heart is very sad. The current political situation in Pakistan is most disappointing.

It should be noted that last year, in December 2023, it was reported that a bride had been found for the PPP chairman, with speculation that their engagement would take place in either Karachi or the UAE. However, the final possibility could not be revealed. It was said that Bilawal Zardari’s sisters, Asifa and Bakhtawar, had chosen his bride and that Bakhtawar’s father-in-law also helped in this regard. It was also said that Bilawal’s future wife belongs to Sindh but the girl’s family resides in United Arab Emirates. However, now we can see Bilawal Bhutto Zardari aspiring to be the prime minister of Pakistan.

It should be noted that PPP leader Manzoor Wasan predicted in 2019 that Bilawal would get married after becoming the Prime Minister.

Earlier, in 2016, Bilawal Bhutto, in response to a question about his bride-to-be, said I will marry the girl who first wins the heart of my sisters. I have to take my sisters into confidence in this regard although winning the hearts of my sisters will be a very difficult task for any girl.

In 2016, JUI-F leader and Senator Hafiz Hamdullah advised Bilawal Bhutto to get married stating that Bilawal Bhutto should get married as soon as possible, with Maulana Fazlur Rehman conducting the Nikkah ceremony. He had advised Bilawal Bhutto to think and decide because marriage is a civil contract. He added that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari should marry a girl after considering 4 things: family, wealth, beauty, and religion, at the forefront.
