Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has demanded resignation from Prime Minister Imran Khan.
While addressing a press conference in Karachi today, the PPP chairman criticised the prime minister by saying Imran Khan should go home if he does not want to work.
“Instead of appreciating that we are working with most limited resources, the ruling government has been continuously degrading the Sindh government,” he lamented.
Moreover, the PPP president also accused the government of failing to provide protective equipment to health care professionals dealing with the deadly disease.
“No warning was provided to the Punjab government about the Raiwind Ijtima. Imran Khan did not support the provinces in tracing the participants,” he said adding that the federal government harmed every province by not playing their role.
He further said, “Pakistan-Iran border at Taftan was opened without any information to Balochistan government which resulted in the spread of the virus to other provinces through pilgrims.”
He maintained that it is our responsibility to provide livelihood to the daily wagers as we would provide for our armed forces, he said, adding, “We are trying to provide for our doctors who are in contact with COVID-19 patients, I know that all provincial governments are playing their due role as well.”
