PPP MNA’s Claim PM is Denying Parliament its Sovereignty

Islamabad (4th July, 2019): Members of National Assembly and political leaders of PPP Qadir Patel, Agha Rafiullah and Shagufta Jummani issue joint statement against the stopping of Asif Ali Zardari’s production orders, term it as denying parliament its sovereignty.

According to Baaghi TV’s reports, the PPP leaders referred to PM Imran Khan as the selected PM, they claimed that the PM is conspiring against democracy. They continued to say that the Speaker National Assembly is a pawn in ts conspiracy. Qadir Patel, Agha Rafiullah and Shagufta Jummani further stated, that the conspiracy against the 18th amendment has started further requesting that pro-democratic members of Parliament should defend Parliament.

Moreover, they claimed that the PM is using Speaker National Assembly to strip the Parliament of its powers leaving it nothing more than a “rubber stand”.

It has further been reported, that the PPP leaders also stated that the PPP has defeated several dictators and that those dictators are now in the “dustbins of history”. Qadir Patel, Agha Rafiullah and Shagufta Jummani have asked PM Imran Khan to stop meddling the the affairs of the constitution.
