PPP not to attend the important National Assembly session

Lahore, 20th April: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will not be attending the National Assembly session today convened by the government.

According to reports, PPP will not attend the NA session on Tuesday convened by the government in order to seek a resolution to expel the French ambassador from Pakistan as agreed with the banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik (TLP).

The decision was announced by the PPP lawmakers.

According to the latest reports, a session of the National Assembly was convened by the government at 3 pm today to table the resolution.

Earlier today, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed announced that the government has decided to take this matter to the parliament after negotiating with the proscribed organization TLP.
