PPP to stage nationwide protests

Lahore, 16th November: PPP announces nationwide protest against rigging in Gilgit-Baltistan elections.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) called for a protest against the rigging in the Gilgit-Baltistan elections

PPP leader Nayyar Bukhari has said that party organizations will hold peaceful protests outside press clubs across the country. PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto will participate in the protest rally.

PPP chairman Bilawal Zardari has said that wherever the mandate was robbed overnight, there will be protests. Pakistan Peoples Party stands with the people of Gilgit-Baltistan. We will not allow anyone to rob the mandate of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Bilawal Zardari further said that PPP leader Jamil Ahmed’s vote was stolen and he could not bargain for his rights. We will not hand over Gilgit-Baltistan to the puppets and the selected.

According to unconfirmed unofficial results of 23 seats, PTI won 7 seats and the PPP won 4 seats. PML-N won 2 seats and PTI’s ally MWM won one seat.
