Precise carbon emission measurement system launched in east China

NANJING, May 31, 2021: East China’s Jiangsu Province has installed an exact carbon emission estimation framework for the power industry business as the nation is endeavoring to top carbon dioxide outflows by 2030 and accomplish carbon neutrality by 2060.

As per State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co., Ltd., the framework can conduct the continuous, real time and precise checking of fossil fuel byproducts among nuclear energy ventures.

While the past estimations and assessments of fossil fuel byproducts have generally depended on degrees of coal utilization and thus made greater errors, the new estimation framework is more precise as it screens more than 2,000 indexes and analyses flow speed, humidity and carbon concentration of flue gas. Jiangsu plans to place the estimation framework into utilization in significant thermal energy stations across the territory before the finish of 2022, said Su Dawei with the organization.
