Preparations for Khadim Hussain Rizvi’s funeral prayer

Lahore, 20th November: Khadim Hussain Rizvi’s body will enter from which gate at the ground of Minar-e-Pakistan?

Baaghi TV: Funeral prayers of Tehreek-e-Labbaik chief Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi will be offered at 10 am tomorrow at Minar Pakistan (Greater Iqbal Park) ground.

According to sources, arrangements have been finalized by PHA. Arrangements for ablution will be made by PHA in the park. In this regard, water bowsers have been demanded by Wasa. Funeral attendees will be able to enter through Gates 1 and 5.

Khadim Hussain Rizvi’s body will be brought to Sabzazar Cricket Ground in an ambulance from his house.

According to police sources, Khadim Hussain Rizvi’s body will be taken to Sabzazar in a government helicopter to Minar-e-Pakistan Ground. Sources said that no decision has been taken yet regarding the funeral. Maulana Khadim Hussain Rizvi’s burial in Lahore is also being considered.

Police have formulated a security plan for the funeral prayers. Heavy contingents will be deployed at all the five gates of Greater Iqbal Park, 50 reserves will be deployed to maintain law and order situation. 
Apart from elite force commandos, anti-rights force and city traffic police personnel will also be deployed during the funeral prayers.

All police personnel will be deployed at the duty point at 7 am on Saturday. To improve traffic and law and order in the city, a plan was made to transport the body by helicopter.

 On the other hand, the traffic police have provided alternative routes to the traffic from Chowk Orphanage to Scheme Mor.

Lahore CTO Syed Hamad Abid says that the traffic is being diverted to alternative routes.

Traffic coming from Main Multan Road Chauburji is being diverted from Samanabad Chowk to Gulshan Ravi Double Roads. Chowk Sekam Mor to Orphanage Chowk is closed on both sides.
