Preparations for Umar Sharif’s Treatment Made: Wife

Leading comedian Umar Sharif’s wife Zareen Ghazal has said that all preparations have been made for her husband’s treatment at the George Washington Hospital.

In a statement, Umar Sharif’s wife said, “We have been issued a visa and there is no problem in departure. The air ambulance invoice will be sent to the Sindh government, after which they will pay for the transportation.”

She further said that all preparations have been made at the George Washington Hospital.

Actress Reema also expressed her concern about the comedian’s condition. 

It is to be noted that Reema’s husband Dr. Syed Tariq Shahab will be operating on Umar Sharif after the actor is flown to the US, which she announced on her Instagram account.

Recently, the government of Pakistan formed a committee to aid the ailing actor and released an amount of Rs 40 million to help with his treatment and flying. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah sanctioned the amount under the “Sindh Relief Measures and Discretionary Grants,” a budgetary provision, provided to the actor upon instruction from the chief minister.

Actor and comedian Umar Sharif has been suffering from various heart problems for a while now and many people – including those from across the border – appealed to the Prime Minister to provide funds for his treatment.
