President Asif Ali Zardari Affirms Pakistan’s Readiness to Collaborate with UN States
On the occasion of the United Nations Day, President Asif Ali Zardari issued a message claiming Pakistan’s readiness to collaborate with UN member nations in achieving a peaceful and prosperous world for all.
In his message on the occasion, President Zardari declared Pakistan is ready to work in collaboration with the UN Member states in achieving the goal of a peaceful and prosperous world. The president asserted that Pakistan has always championed the principles of the UN Charter.

Pakistan has made invaluable contributions toward international peace and security, including services as a leading military and police contributor through UN peacekeeping preparations, said the President.
On the other hand, President Zardari said that the UN Charter’s vision of universal peace is currently under threat through blatant violations of its principles in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) regions, respectively.
