President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh.
In their separate statements, they said the passing of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh is a moment of grief not only for Saudi Arabia but for the entire Muslim Ummah.
The President said Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh’s religious services and scholarly guidance will always be remembered.
Prime Minister said the late Sheikh was a revered and eminent Islamic scholar whose efforts for the unity of Muslim world and his scholarly wisdom will always be remembered.
Extending heartfelt condolences to bereaved family, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the people of Saudi Arabia, both leaders prayed for the departed soul.
