Prime Minister approves bill to reduce government privileges

According to Baaghi TV, Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved a bill to reduce his and the President’s privileges.

Prime Minister Imran Khan contacted Dr. Babar Awan, Advisor to Parliamentary Affairs and directed the Parliament to pass a law to reduce privileges. The Prime Minister directed to end the culture of VIP expenditure on government expenditure. Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Babar Awan stepped up work on the legislation.

Adviser to Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Babar Awan said that the Heads of State will soon present a bill in Parliament to reduce the privileges of the heads of state, including the election manifesto, the promise of austerity will be fulfilled. With the bill, the President and Prime Minister will be able to have only one official residence. In the past, the chiefs gave more than one residence the status of camp offices, providing security, employees, food, internet and telephone.

Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Babar Awan presented the official record of the President and Ministers to the Prime Minister. The President and the Prime Minister used the public exchequer relentlessly for a lavish lifestyle. The President’s House was declared by setting up camp offices in Lahore and his native areas. The former President from Rural Sindh declared two President’s Houses. In the past, one Larkana Rest House and another Ratu Dero’s Bhutto House were declared. A former Prime Minister from South Punjab declared 5 places including Multan and Lahore as Prime Minister’s House.

A former Chief Minister showed 7 different camp offices in Lahore as Chief Minister’s Office. A former Prime Minister spent Rs. 83 crore on the wall of his house alone.
