Prime Minister Imran Khan has arrived in Saudi Arabia on a three-day official visit.

According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan has arrived in Saudi Arabia on a three-day official visit accompanied by a high-level delegation. First Lady Bushra Bibi is accompanied by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Governor Sindh, Governor KP, Foreign Minister and Interior Minister are also present. Faisal Javed and Punjab Food Minister Aleem Khan are also accompanying the Prime Minister.

Pakistani sources said that during the visit, Prime Minister Imran Khan will hold meetings with important Saudi dignitaries as well as attend the shrine and perform Umrah with the delegation.

On the other hand, Special Assistant Shahbaz Gul, referring to the Prime Minister’s visit to Saudi Arabia, said that the Prime Minister will arrive in Jeddah this evening. His engagements include meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince, signing memorandum of understanding and meeting delegations.

Shahbaz Gul said that the Prime Minister would pay obeisance at Roza-e-Rasool tomorrow and insha-Allah he would perform Umrah on Sunday.

It is believed that the Prime Minister is visiting Saudi Arabia at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman. Earlier this month, Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman called Prime Minister Imran Khan and invited him to visit Saudi Arabia.

It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan accepted this visit after repeated invitations from Saudi rulers, as back-door relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan had deteriorated a bit, after which Pakistan, instead of expanding its contacts to Saudi Arabia, visited other neighboring countries. The Saudi rulers not only narrowed the gap with Prime Minister Imran Khan in order to improve the situation, but also re-established contacts to end the distances.

Leading sources have also claimed that the visit is very important and that Pakistan has the potential to play a major role in the world.
