According to a report by Baaghi TV, Prime Minister Imran Khan will launch an important service for Pakistanis abroad today.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Overseas Pakistan and Human Resources said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would formally inaugurate the Digital Roshan Pakistan Account Program today. After the launch of the program, it will be convenient for Pakistanis living abroad to open their accounts in 8 major Pakistani banks while living in any overseas country.

Under the program, remittances from abroad, gas, electricity, water and other bills will also be paid through this service. While other payments including remittances will also be possible easily.
According to sources, with the help of Digital Roshan Pakistan Accounts Program, Pakistanis living abroad will be able to easily invest in their own country.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan had approved the launch of Roshan Digital Account for the convenience of Pakistanis abroad. Presiding over a briefing on the move in Islamabad, he said that Pakistanis living abroad are an invaluable asset to the country.
The Prime Minister said that the provision of all possible facilities to the overseas Pakistanis and their families participating in the development of the country is the top priority of the government. SBP is launching Roshan Digital Account in association with eight major banks of the country, which will be launched in the first week of September. Thanks to Roshan Digital Account, various facilities including remittances, bill payment, investment will be easily available.
The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of Governor SBP and its partner private banks in introducing Roshan Digital Account to facilitate Pakistanis abroad and said that Pakistanis abroad are the most valuable asset of the country. Providing all possible facilities to these Pakistanis and their families who have contributed to the development of the country away from home is the top priority of the government.
