February 18, 2021: Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay a one-day visit to Attock tomorrow. Special Assistant for Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam will also accompany him on the visit.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate 10 cricket grounds in Attock. The cricket grounds will be handed over to local young cricketers of Attock. In Attock, he will address a gathering of 32 cricket teams from Chhachh area. The tree planting campaign will be launched in Chichian village on the outskirts of Attock.
He will also inaugrate the Ghazi Brothan canal plantation project to plant 1 million saplings on each bank. One million saplings will be planted in 3 years in Ghaziabad. Fruits and flowering plants will be planted under the Billion Tree project in Attock. The management of each cricket ground will be responsible for planting and guarding one lakh trees. The types of trees include Jasmine, guava, berry, cactus, sheesham and dhrake.
