Dhaka: Prominent mufti issues fatwa on Facebook’s emoji “ha ha” if its halal or haram.

According to reports, prominent Bangladeshi cleric Maulana Ahmadullah has said that the “ha ha” emoji on Facebook used to make fun of people is haram and forbidden.

Maulana Ahmadullah, a well-known Bangladeshi cleric who is very popular on social media and also participates in religious discussions on TV.

He recently released a three-minute video on social media mentioning people making fun of each other.

He said that Facebook’s “ha ha” emoji is used to make fun of people, which is why it is haraam.

Ahmadullah said in his fatwa that if the purpose of the person posting the content is to make a joke, then the use of “ha ha” emoji is correct, but if it is used to make fun of a Muslim, then it is haraam.
