Baaghi TV reports that voters have staged a sit-in outside the White House on the night of the 2020 US election.
According to a news agency, hundreds of protesters gathered outside the White House and they were ready to clash with the police. Reportedly. the police arrived at the scene, when the protesters stormed them. There were reports of unrest in the election and the police had also made preparations in this regard.
Police detained two people, after protesters stormed the police. However, following the reaction from the police, demonstrators reportedly became peaceful. According to Sky News, some of the protesters were wearing goggles and using umbrellas to protect their identities.
Protesters again protested for the release of those arrested and set up barricades, saying “we will not let them go.” Some protesters kicked police vehicles, while others demanded that they not be allowed into custody.
Why did the police arrest these two people? The reason could not be revealed. According to NBC, before the election, a fence was erected to secure the White House complex. However, additional security was also deployed. On the other hand, Donald Trump has the lead in 29 of the 51 states in the United States, while Joe Biden has won in 22 states.
It is to be noted that, President Trump or Joe Biden need 270 of the 538 electoral votes to take over the presidency. The full results of the polls and their final official announcement are set for December 14th this year.
