May 20, 2021:  Good news for cricket fans, the rest of the PSL matches have been approved.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, the good news for cricket fans is that the Pakistan Cricket Board has received approval on all issues to hold the remaining 20 matches of HBLPSL 6 in Abu Dhabi. Arrangements will be finalized after an online meeting between the PCB and the franchise owners. An online meeting between the parties will be held this afternoon. The board and the franchise owners say they are now fully prepared for the event.

Initially, the Pakistan Super League season 6 started from the city of Karachi on February 20 this year and the matches of the event were being played in either Karachi or Lahore at the time. The tournament had to be postponed midway when some players and squad members tested positive for the corona virus. Also, due to the corona virus, the opening ceremony of the event was a relatively low key subdued affair which was not aired live, with the event being pre-recorded. Also, in the beginning, only 20% seats were open for spectators in the matches, which was later increased to 50% as per consultation and recommendation of the NCOC.
