Lahore, 8th March: The federal government is considering to take action against the PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz over PML-N ticket remarks.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, on Monday Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of the government’s spokespersons to discuss to take legal options against Maryam Nawaz over PML-N ticket remarks.
According to detail, Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of spokespersons to discuss a strategy for the election of the Senate chairman and deputy chairman.
According to reports, the meeting also considered taking legal options against Maryam Nawaz over her remarks that the PTI lawmakers voted in favour of Yousuf Raza Gillani after they were promised PML-N tickets in the next elections.
PML-N vice president’s remarks against law-enforcing authorities were also assessed for possible action.
While referring to the PML-N supremo during the meeting, Imran Khan said that those who are involved in corrupt practices try to act like Nelson Mandela.
He asked in order to ensure a transparent process, how much it would have been taken if traceable ballot papers are published for the Senate polls.
