Lahore, 25th July: Riots took place in different constituencies of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) general elections during which two persons were killed and two others were injured.

According to details, at least two PTI workers were killed in a clash with PPP activists at a polling station in the Kotli district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir after polling for 45 seats of the AJK Legislative Assembly started on Sunday.

Voter slips were torn by PML-N and PTI agents during a riot at the most sensitive polling station No. 53 in Azad Kashmir constituency LA-25 Neelam One, after which the polling process was stopped by the polling officer.
Two PTI workers was killed and two others were injured in an armed clash between PPP and PTI workers in Kotli constituency LA-12. A heavy contingent of police arrived to protect the polling staff.

In Rawalpindi district, PPP camp was uprooted at Millat Colony Fawara Chowk polling station of Azad Jammu and Kashmir constituency LA-43 while PTI camp remained intact.

Pakistan Peoples Party Central Election Cell Chief Senator Taj Haider has submitted a written complaint to the Secretary Election Commission of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
