People have taken to social networking website Twitter to demand justice for Noor Mukadam, daughter of Shaukat Mukadam, who was killed by American-Pakistani dual-citizenship holder Zahir Jaffer in Islamabad.
Users, including many key figures, have been demanding on Twitter under the trending hashtag “DarindayJafferKoSazaDo #درندے_جعفر_کو_سزا_دو that Noor Mukadam’s killer be punished, stating that Zahir Jaffer must be hanged. They have been gathering in large numbers on the microblogging website, appealing for justice for the victim, demanding from the government that the killer be given the highest possible punishment, and rightly so, because such beasts do not deserve any concession.

A case of murder for Noor Mukadam, daughter of former Pakistan’s Ambassador to South Korea and Kazakhstan Shaukat Ali Mukadam, has been registered at Kohsan police station, under Section 302, wherein the Code states that whoever commits murder shall be punished with death.
The girl’s father Shaukat Mukadam, according to an FIR lodged in Kohsar police station, told police in his statement that on July 19, Noor told her family at night that she was going to Lahore with friends and would be back in a couple of days. On July 21, news reached the father from Kohsar police that his daughter had been found murdered and beheaded by the culprit Zahir Jaffer.
