Punjab Anti-corruption makes huge recovery worth billions
Friday, July 10th: Anti-corruption grand operation, government land worth Rs 4.46 billion handed over in Punjab this week.
Anti-corruption has relinquished 5,869 kanals of government land across Punjab from illegal occupants. Anti-Corruption Sahiwal relinquishes 2,726 kanals of government land worth Rs 1.94 billion
Dera Ghazi Khan Region relinquished 1,573 kanals of land worth Rs. 60.44 crore. Faisalabad region relinquishes 71 kanals 19 marlas of government land worth Rs 15 million from illegal occupants
1,183 kanals 8 marlas of land worth Rs. 26 crore 64 lakhs were handed over in Multan, 44 kanals 4 marlas of lands worth Rs. 10 million in Gujranwala were handed over.
152 kanals of government land worth Rs. 28.5 million in Bahawalpur this week were handed over. Lahore Region B has seized 19 kanals and 2 marlas of government land worth Rs 37 million. Anti-Corruption Lahore A has foiled an attempt to seize government land worth crores of rupees in Subhan Garden.
Director General Anti-Corruption Muhammad Gohar Nafees directed that anti-corruption is conducting joint operations with the district administration across Punjab. Anti-corruption officers should adopt zero tolerance policy against the occupation mafia.
