Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan has been removed from his post while Firdous Ashiq Awan has been made the Punjab Information Minister.
A notification has also been issued to remove Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan from the portfolio. According to the notification, Firdous Ashiq Awan has been made Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab. Earlier, Javed Akhtar was the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information.
According to the notification, the information department has been withdrawn from Fayyaz Chauhan and he will retain his charge of the colonies department.
