LAHORE (Radio Pakistan) — November 27, 2025: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed authorities to fast-track the resolution of possession cases involving destitute widows, stressing that such matters must be treated with utmost urgency.

Chairing a high-level meeting in Lahore, the Chief Minister ordered daily monitoring of all actions against illegal occupation of properties across the province. She instructed that a progress report be submitted to her every day to ensure transparency and accountability.

Maryam Nawaz further said she will personally oversee the daily meetings of District Dispute Resolution Committees (DDRCs), which are being held under the supervision of Deputy Commissioners to address land-related disputes and complaints.

She emphasized that no delay would be tolerated in restoring legitimate property rights, particularly for vulnerable women facing exploitation.
