Punjab CM, Usman Buzdar intiates scheme for inflation control

March 17, 2021: According to a report by Baaghi TV, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has taken a good step to save the people from inflation and provide permanent relief.

Punjab Model Bazaar Management Company has been abolished and it has been decided to set up Suholat Bazar Authority. Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has approved the establishment of Punjab Suholat Bazar Authority.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar said that farmer platforms would also be set up in convenience markets. Farmers will be able to sell their produce directly through the Farmers’ Platform. The convenience market authority will ensure the establishment of convenience markets throughout the province.

The scope of convenience markets will be extended to every district and every tehsil. These markets will be functional 365 days a year. The people will be saved from inflation and will get real relief. The authority will set up more than 400 convenience markets across the province.

Flour and other items will be available at the required convenience rates in the cheap convenience markets. Items will be available in the cheap convenience markets at the required government rates.He said, “We will go to extremes to provide relief to the people and control prices.”

Chief Minister Usman Bazdar directed to complete the work of identification of lands in the districts for cheap convenience bazaars as soon as possible and said that the Punjab government would continue to do everything possible to provide relief to the people. He said, “We will ensure protection of the rights of the people at all costs. Providing maximum relief to the people is the agenda of our government.”

A high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Usman Bazdar. The meeting reviewed the establishment of Suholat Bazaar Authority and expansion of Suholat Bazar. Government officials attended the meeting.
