Punjab Government announces a holiday on Oct 8th

Lahore, 1st October: The government of Punjab has announced a holiday on October 8.
Baaghi TV: A notification has been issued by the Punjab government according to which it has been declared a holiday on October 8 on the occasion of Chehlum and Urs Hazrat Dataganj Bakhsh.
According to the notification, a public holiday will be observed in Lahore district on October 8 on the occasion of Chehlum of Martyrs of Karbala and Urs Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh.
Nawaz Sharif’s property and assets to be confiscated
Schools, colleges, universities and government institutions in Lahore will be closed. However, the Civil Secretariat, provincial and federal offices will remain open.
On the other hand, the Punjab Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs has completed the arrangements for the three-day celebrations of the 977th Annual Urs of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Rehmat-ul-Allah Alayh.
The annual Urs celebrations of renowned spiritual figure Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA) will begin on October 6th.
