The Punjab government has decided to pay monthly stipends to the acid victim survivors, says the spokesperson of the Chief Minister
According to reports of Baaghitv, Punjab Chief Minister Saradr Usman Buzdar’s chief spokesperson Dr.Shahbaz Gill announced hat the Punjab Government will pay the monthly stipend to the acid attack survivors. This announcement was made, during his visit to an acid attack survivor in Gujrat. He handed over a cheque of Rs500,000 to the victim’s family on behalf of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
He assured families of acid attack victims that the government is standing beside survivors and culprits will be punished for their acts. Other than providing a monthly stipend, the government has also legislated on the matter of eliminating the practice of acid attacks, Gill said.
