The Punjab government has issued orders to secure its stock in the province after experts in the United Kingdom (UK) described the successful treatment with ‘Dexamethasone‘.
Dexamethasone is a low-dose steroid drug which is described as a ‘tremendous breakthrough’ in the fight against the coronavirus by the experts in the UK.
In a letter issued by the provincial health department, drug inspectors have been directed to keep a record of the stock of the drug in the market keeping in view the sale and purchase of the drug in the market.

If it is needed to treat coronavirus patients, it can be provided in hospitals.
