Lahore: Three professors of Punjab University have been included in the world’s top 2% researchers on which the Vice Chancellor Dr. Niaz Ahmed congratulated the teachers on the great international achievement.
According to the details, Punjab University got another major international award, three professors were included in the world’s best 2% researchers.
According to a list released by Stanford University of California, Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Punjab University, Dr. Muhammad Sharif, Dean, Faculty of Science and Dr. Muhammad Akram, Department of Mathematics have been named as the top 2% researchers in the world.

One hundred and sixty thousand (160,000) researchers from all fields were included in the global ranking of best researchers. Punjab University researchers were selected on the basis of international scrutiny of their research papers.

Congratulating the faculty on the remarkable international success, Vice Chancellor Dr. Niaz Ahmed said that the steps taken by the university administration to improve the international rankings have begun to bear fruit.
Dr Ahmed further said that the international ranking of Punjab University in various fields has improved in the last two years.
