FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi apprised his french counter-part of the Indian atrocities in the Indian Occupied Kashmir IOK on a telephonic conversation, said Foreign Office in a statement on Tuesday.

According to reports of Baaghitv, Foreign Office has released a statement which states, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmod Qureshi briefed his french counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian about the tactics employed by the Indian administration in the scenic valley of the Kashmir.

He underscored that unilateral decision taken by the Modi administration to stripped the autonomous status of Jammu & Kashmir is not only the violation of International law but of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions.  He informed the Jean-Yves Le Drian of France, regional peace has been tarnished by the decision of the Modi administration.

Qureshi also informed his french counter part of the gross violation of human rights by the Indian security forces in the IOK, under the wake of Special powers Act and under the curfew which has been imposed by the Indian administration. He mentioned shortage of food and medicines in the valley and communication blackout imposed by the Modi administration.
