Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Releases Prayer Kalaam

World-renowned and popular classical singer and songwriter Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has released the prayer kalaam, “Ae Khudaa Hamay Bakhsh De”. In this song he has painted the picture of death, misery, and suffering resulting from the corona virus pandemic, all over the world.

The prayer song video features Rahat Fateh Ali Khan singing on the one hand and shots of Khana Kaaba and other religious sites on the other hand. It also includes pictures of people following protection guidelines. The prayer song has been written by Qamar Nashad, composed by Naveed Nashad, produced by Salman Ahmed, and directed by Saleem Ahmed Khan.

It was released yesterday on Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s youtube channel and other social media outlets.Ot immediately went viral and got praise from everywhere. It may be noted that in the previous month of May, 40 singers from 7 countries including Pakistan, got together to sing the inspirational “We Are One, Ae Khudaa”. It was composed by popular singer-songwriter Kashan Admani and released on youtube under the banner of Dream Station Productions. It’s Urdu poetry was done by Sabir Zafar and English poetry by Babar Sheikh.

Apart from this, several stars of the music industry recorded a song sponsored by the government to raise the spirits of the nation.
