Rain and wind-thundershowers expected in different parts of country


ISLAMABAD, August 11 (Online): Rain/wind-thundershowers occurred in Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Islamabad and Kashmir.

Rain and wind-thundershowers are expected in upper/central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, coastal belt of Sindh, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next twelve hours.

Hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad twenty-five degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-eight, Karachi twenty-seven, Peshawar twenty-four, Quetta nineteen, Gilgit twenty, Murree seventeen and Muzaffarabad twenty-four degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast about Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla is expected to be partly cloudy with chances of rain and thundershowers.

Temperature recorded this morning in Srinagar twenty, Jammu twenty-six, Leh eleven, Pulwama eighteen, Anantnag nineteen, Shopian seventeen and Baramulla sixteen degree centigrade.
