In different parts of Karachi, it rained again and the daily routine was disrupted by water everywhere. Shara Faisal, Bahadurabad, Saddar, II Chandragar Road, Jamshed Road, Jahangir Road and Gurmundar were lashed by clouds at night which flooded Korangi, Malir and Causeway, roads were submerged and it was also raining around Qayyumabad Chowrangi.

Water is still stored. Korangi Bhattai Colony was completely flooded, roads leading to mosques and houses were closed, people’s lives are devastated.

The PECH Society’s furniture market was also flooded due to rains. There is also water outside the City Court and KMC head office. The death toll from electrocution in the city rose to eleven in four days. The family has appealed to higher authorities to take notice of the incident.

No contact has been made with the family so far, except for a traditional condolence message from an electric spokesman.
