Rain with wind-thunderstorm expected during next 12 hours


ISLAMABAD, August 9 (Online): Rain with wind-thunderstorm is expected in Islamabad, Upper/Central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next twelve hours.

Heavy fall is also expected in Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Upper Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir during the period. Light rain is expected at a few places in south Punjab and lower Sindh.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad and Karachi twenty-eight degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-nine, Peshawar thirty, Quetta and Gilgit twenty-two,  Muzaffarabad twenty-one and Murree nineteen degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast about Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla is expected to be partly cloudy with chances of rain and thundershowers.

Temperature recorded this morning in Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramulla twenty-one, Jammu twenty-seven, Leh twelve, Anantnag and Shopian twenty degree centigrade.
