Lahore, 26th May: The trading volume of the stock market sets a record for the first time in the history of Pakistan.

Baaghi TV: For the first time in the history of the country, the trading volume crossed 1.24 billion shares. 49% of the low-cost shares played a key role in crossing the milestone.

Small-denomination shares traded 49% on the stock exchange. In the history of the stock exchange, 84% of shares were traded in one day.

On the other hand, due to the rise in share prices of most companies, the market capitalization increased from Rs 79.99 trillion to Rs 80.12 trillion.

While the trading volume in terms of share turnover was 766.643 million shares, which is 89.26 million shares less than the previous trading session.

In terms of price volatility, shares of Wyeth Pak rose from Rs 128.62 to Rs 1843.58 and shares of Bata Pak, rose from Rs 71.94 to Rs 1699.

While Colgate Palmolive fell from Rs 180.99 to Rs 2813.01 and shares of Rafhan Maize fell from Rs 125 to Rs 9,500.
