Reference against judges: PML-N to protest in Parliament against Government.

PML-N has decided to protest in the parliament against government’s decision of making judges accountable.

According to the reports of Baaghitv, a meeting of PML-N Parliamentary Advisory Body was held today in the chamber of Opposition leader. In the meeting, it was decided that PML-N will register their protest against government decision of sending Presidential reference against senior judges of Supreme Court Justice Qazi Faez Issa. The meeting was presided by senior vice president of PML-N and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Senator Raja Zafar-ul-haq.Senior leaders of PML-N Ayyaz Sadiq, Mashahid Ullah, Rana Tanvir, Maryam Aurangzeb participated in the meeting. Speaking to media after the meeting, Ayyaz Sadiq said PML-N will resist every move against judiciary. He stated independent judiciary is bedrock of democracy and PML-N will leave no stone un-turned for the independence of judiciary.

It must be remembered that PML-N leaders met former deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Kot Lakhpat jail yesterday, in which former premier advised the party workers to raise their voice against Government bid to weaken the judiciary.
